Empowering Student-Athletes

Beyond the Field.
Into the Future.

GrandScale helps student-athletes turn the discipline they build through sports into lasting opportunities in technology, leadership, and career success.

Why GrandScale?

Student-athletes develop extraordinary discipline — but aren't always shown the career pathways that exist beyond the game. GrandScale bridges that gap, combining leadership frameworks, technical exposure, and direct mentorship to prepare young people for the workforce.

01

Leadership & Structure

We build on the discipline, accountability, and teamwork already forged through athletics — translating those instincts into professional environments.

02

Identity & Cloud Foundations

Students gain practical exposure to identity systems, access management, and the modern enterprise technology that powers today's global organizations.

03

Mentorship & Career Access

Participants connect directly with professionals in IT and cybersecurity — gaining an inside view of real pathways into the workforce before they graduate.

About GrandScale

A Career Built
From Unexpected Doors.

Rasheed McClaude Founder, GrandScale

GrandScale was founded to help young athletes discover opportunities beyond the field — especially in the growing world of Information Technology. A graduate of Garfield High School, Rasheed earned a degree in Criminal Justice but, like many young adults after college, struggled to determine his next step.

An opportunity to work as a Help Desk technician with the U.S. Army introduced him to the IT field and opened a door to a career he had never previously considered. Through dedication and continuous growth, Rasheed built a successful career and rose through the ranks within the federal government's IT workforce.

While advancing in his career, Rasheed never lost sight of his desire to give back. He realized that many young people involved in sports are rarely exposed to career paths in technology that could shape their future. GrandScale was created to change that — introducing young athletes to IT careers, mentorship, and opportunities that help them succeed both on and off the field.
